The work samples, photos, videos, audio notes, grades, and timeline entries you create are stored locally on your device and synced through your own Apple iCloud account. We do not collect, transmit, or store this content on third-party servers.

If you contact support or purchase a subscription, we process the minimum needed to respond and to fulfill the purchase (handled by Apple). We may collect anonymous, aggregated diagnostics to keep the app stable. None of this identifies a specific child.

Home Scholar is a tool for parents and educators. Records about children are entered and controlled by the adult account holder and remain under their control on their devices.

You can export a complete portable JSON backup at any time, and you can delete all family data from a device in one action. Because your data is local, deletion is immediate and under your control.
